H. S. Vyas & Kumardatt Ashok Ganjre

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11115 - 11125

E-Business can be defined as any form of business transaction in which the parties interact electronically rather than by physical exchange of documents or direct meetings. In other words, E-Business is doing business online. It can mean selling data directly from Internet, paying bills through the bank account or purchasing or trading online. It can also mean the use of Internet as an alternative sales channel and the entire transaction can take place with no human intervention on the merchant side. The number of Indians shopping online grew 42% over the last year, almost double the rate of growth of the Internet medium (i.e. 22%), sure proof of internet shopping gaining attractions with value seeking desi consumers, concerns online security and vendor trust not withstanding. Review of literature reveals that majority of the studies are based on conventional market. There are very meager studies on E-markets. India’s online population currently stands at 25 million and is predicted to grow to 100 million by 2012. Changing lifestyles and shopping habits have fueled E-Business. Indian users have started to use this medium like never before. Rs.570 crores worth of E-Business conducted online in 2004-05, Rs.2, 300 crores by 2007-08, and is expected that it will reach Rs. 10,000 crores by 2012.  Kurnool city, with about 7 lakh population and being a fast growing city and industrial hub with mixed culture. This necessitated conducting a study on awareness of e-markets among the people of  Kurnool city.

Although there are several means of investing one’s hard earned money, the equity markets have been highly rewarding since the past few decades. The industry has such a plethora of mutual fund houses, schemes, options etc. to choose from, that a novice is bound to get confused about the best methods to invest. This research paper is an effort to evaluate the Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) option as against the lumpsum investments and their suitability for different types of investors.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAM TO SPREAD INCLUSIVE AWARENESS IN SOCIETY

Namita S. Sahare

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11383 - 11389

To modify or to change or to innovate the behavior, the learning experiences are essential. Creating a more inclusive workplace is necessary for many reasons. The way forward in hiring people with disabilities is to judge them on their ability to meet the job requirements, and then to design the workspace and workflow accordingly to maximize their ability to deliver results. For that to happen, there must be an awareness of the need for diversity and inclusion within the organisation and, more importantly, among colleagues and management.   . When we think about making a difference to the disabled, we usually think about their education, jobs and career, which is great. But a different approach that has thought about it from the emotional front, they should not feel isolated or excluded. Thus providing an experiential learning based program that would strengthen their feeling of inclusion to counter stress and increase the productivity  is an essential need. The purpose of this study is primarily to study the impact of experiential learning activities to spread inclusion awareness in workplace.

ANDRAGOGY AND COOPERATIVE LEARNING

Minakshi Biswal

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11390 - 11396

The present formal education system of in India is often joyless and tedious. The present curriculum is isolated from life. The transaction method is limited to only traditional chalk and talk method. This stereo-typed method failed to develop in the students their independence of thought and initiative in action. The unnecessary weight age on the written examination compelled to curb the teachers’ initiative, to stereotype the curriculum, to promote mechanical and lifeless methods of teaching, to discourage all spirit of experimentation and to place the stress on the wrong or unimportant things on education.  This faulty process provides a lorry load of information to students without any concept clarity and problem solving ability.  It is only trying to maintain the status quo, rather than leading to a dynamic transformation of the society. The dysfunctional aspects of education are becoming increasingly evident. Rather than preparing students for society, it alienates them from it. Now it is observed that students are not regular and sincere towards their regular studies. They are not attentive in the class room. They are very casual towards internal assessment. Their ideology is very different. They are not sensitive. Their attitude towards society has changed in a negative direction. This is a serious problem which needs attention. The present paper tries to find a solution to this problem in the form of cooperative learning.

Fish diversity and pollution status in the Yamuna River in Delhi, India is due to   Several industrial and urban centers sit on the banks of the Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh. We selected four sampling stations on the Yamuna for purposes of fish fauna and water quality analysis over the course of a calendar year (October 2016 – September   2018). The samples were analyzed for selected physico-chemical analysis, and we recorded the types of fishes as well. We observed that most physico-chemical parameters were in a suitable range for the survival and growth of fish fauna. We recorded 29 species of fishes, belonging to 21 genera of 10 families.

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11446 - 11451

B.Ed. is a course that prepares the prospective teachers to teach. As the course commences the prospective teachers face many problems right from academics to adjustment. The students are continuously under stress and pressure due to the problems that they come across, sometimes they manage to solve the problems sometimes they don’t.  Moreover after the completion of the B.Ed. course they have to teach students of std  VIII – XII. This stage is termed as adolescence. As teachers, the B.Ed. students have to deal with such students who are continuously in the state of flux. Adolescence all over the world face many problems since they undergo various changes, both mental and physical. As students these adolescence approach their teachers to solve the problems which they come across. Hence as prospective teachers it is important that the B.Ed. students possess problem solving skills, which is one of the life skills mentioned by the world health organization.
The present study was conducted to check the problem solving skill of B.Ed. students. The researchers conducted a short survey on 50 student teachers of Arihant College of Education. Finding of the study shows that majority of the prospective teachers (78%) have scores in the range of 21 – 30 this means that the students possess good problem solving skills. Whereas 18% of the prospective teachers have excellent problem solving skills.

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11456 - 11465

In this research paper an attempt has been made to focus on challenges of women teachers in the present Era and give major suggestions. It has and has been observed that there is drastic change in the women status. Due to advancement of the science and technology status of women has changed. Due to education women keeping step by step with men. But in real sense they have to faced so many challenges. The quote Williams “It is most fascinating to behold that after independence, the education of girls had been progressing more rapidly than that of boys and that parents have shown remarkable interest in their education. The women education in the recent year has received great encouragement in both private and public sectors. The overall figures of women education at all stages show impressive advancement. ” Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru rightly emphasized that “Education of boy is the education of one person, but educational of girl is the education of the entire family.”Every women having challenges, but working women having more challenges than house wives. Teacher is considered a major pillar of the society. Teacher is also considered a nation builder..There are so many responsibilities to bear to institution, to family and to society as per Indian culture context by women teacher in comparison to men. The researcher has made to focus on major challenges faced by women teachers.

HARMONIC MAPPING; CONCEPT AND APPLICATIONS

Mr. Namesh Kumar

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11475 - 11481

In the mathematical field of differential geometry, a smooth map from one Riemannian manifold to another Riemannian manifold is called harmonic if its coordinate representatives satisfy a certain nonlinear partial differential equation. This partial differential equation for a mapping also arises as the Euler-Lagrange equation of a functional generalizing the Dirichlet energy (which is often itself called "Dirichlet energy"). As such, the theory of harmonic maps encompasses both the theory of unit-speed geodesics in Riemannian geometry, and the theory of harmonic functions on open subsets of Euclidean space and on Riemannian manifolds. Informally, the Dirichlet energy of a mapping f from a Riemannian manifold M to a Riemannian manifold N can be thought of as the total amount that f "stretches" M in allocating each of its elements to a point of N. For instance, a rubber band which is stretched around a (smooth) stone can be mathematically formalized as a mapping from the points on the unstretched band to the surface of the stone. The unstretched band and stone are given Riemannian metrics as embedded submanifolds of three-dimensional Euclidean space; the Dirichlet energy of such a mapping is then a formalization of the notion of the total tension involved. Harmonicity of such a mapping means that, given any hypothetical way of physically deforming the given stretch, the tension (when considered as a function of time) has first derivative zero when the deformation begins. The techniques used by Richard Schoen and Uhlenbeck to study the regularity theory of harmonic maps have likewise been the inspiration for the development of many analytic methods in geometric theory.

FACTORS OF STRESS AMONG THE REAL ESTATE EMPLOYEES: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY

Mini Amit Arravatiya & Neeti Singh

Issue: Sep-Oct, 2018 | Volume/Issue:6/47 | Page No.: 11490 - 11506

There has been ongoing accentuation on the study of factors of stress among employees in each and every field and sector. at the same time inferable from questions about in the case of analyzing one naturally gives data about the other. Nonetheless, there have been minimal investigations into this question. The real estate industry is yet not organized and the data about employees’ stress is hard to collect. The present study examines the factors of stress among the employees working in the real study. The data were collected from the four major real estate groups of Jaipur city from the Rajasthan state of India. A total of 384 employees with an equal number of male and female employees were selected through Krejcie and Morgan Formula. A self-constructed ‘Perceived Stress Scale’ was used for data gathering. The data were analyzed through Descriptive Statistics. The results revealed that each and every employee working in real estate industries are facing some extent of stress. The high extent of stress was faced because of bad management practices, job content or job demand, psychological demands, relationships at work, change management, lack of support, role conflict and trauma. While the average extent of stress was felt because of organizational culture and, physical environment. No dimension of stress scale was found with zero frequency of employees, Which shows that employees face stress at every dimension of stress Keywords- Stress, Real Estate Industry.
