Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy in which small teams, each with students of different levels of ability, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of a subject. Many researches have shown the success of cooperative learning for increasing student achievement and motivation in the classroom. However, the present study investigates the opinion of the B.Ed. students regarding cooperative learning on their personal qualities. The responses of the B.Ed. students showed that cooperative learning helped in developing personal qualities like appreciation for others and communication skills among other qualities.  Education plays an important role in moulding the character and personality of an individual. Teachers form the nucleus of any system of education. They are one of the main pillars of the society, responsible for educating young people for different occupations. Teachers’ role in education is multi-dimensional.  Mental health is one of the important factor in all round development of a student. People who are mentally healthy are in control of their emotions and their behavior. They are able to handle life’s challenges, build strong relationships, and recover from setbacks. This article will focus on the different aspects of mental health, theoretical background of emotions, effect of emotions on behavior, mental health of students and supportive efforts that should be taken by schools and teachers for development of mental health of students.

 Emotional health and Mental health are the two parts of physical health. Both affect each other. Mental experiences like emotions, sensations, feelings and moods have strong subjective qualities like pleasure or pain. Emotions are of two types: positive emotions e.g. love, sympathy, hope, curiosity and negative emotions e.g. anger, hate, grief, fear, etc. Mental health problems can affect the feelings, thoughts, and actions and cause difficulties on daily activities, whether at school, at work or in relationships. A person who has good mental health has good emotional and social well-being and capacity to cope with the changes and challenges. In today’s modern era, rapid industrialization and well developed modern social system, an individual often fails to maintain a balance between himself / herself and his / her social environment. Every person has certain needs, need for affection and love, need for safety and security and so on. An individual tries to establish a balance between her/his needs and her/ his capacity for realizing these needs. As long as this balance is satisfactorily maintained, the person remains adjusted and his mental health is retained. But when this balance is lost she/ he drifts towards maladjustment. The World Health Organization defines mental health as a state of well- being in which an individual realizes her/his own abilities, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her/his community.

 

 Application of co-operative learning approach for triangle construction. Cooperative learning is more elaborate than group work activity. If we train our students to work effectively in groups, the results can be a very productive and fun learning environment. Students some students are done same practicals individually. After evaluation researcher found that practical done by few students is extreme. But improvement should be needed in practical of most of the students. Researcher found that quality of practicals done by B.Ed. Students should be better. Researcher focusing on concern problem through this research. As a solution of this problem researcher drown the plan of co-operative efforts. In this study researcher check the effectiveness of co-operative efforts according to practical achievement of the Students.

 Survey of various studies conducted on inclusive education in India & abroad helps to understand more about inclusion & its importance today. Present Research focuses on developing a program in Inclusive Education. Objective of the research is to design, develop and test the effectiveness of a Knowledge Based Program in Inclusive Education (KBPIE) for school teachers. KBPIE has been developed and administered to the sample of teachers. Single group interrupted time series design was used to test the effectiveness of the program. Stastical analysis i.e. the t value from pre-test (O2) and post-test-2, retention test (O4) indicates that the Knowledge Based Program in Inclusive Education (KBPIE) for Teachers teaching at higher primary level is significantly effective. It will definitely help teachers, teacher educators in guiding the teacher trainees about inclusion of differently abled students. It can be one of the effective programs for schools to plan for training of their teachers about inclusive education.

 Graphic organizers (some of which are also called concept maps, entity relationship charts, and mind maps) are a pictorial way of constructing knowledge and organizing information.They help the student convert and compress a lot of seemingly disjointed information into a structured, simple-to-read, graphic display. The resulting visual display conveys complex information in a simple-to-understand manner. According to many researchers, graphic organizers are the useful for teaching as well as for better learning. Thepresent study focuses to find out the opinions of the B.Ed. students regarding the use of graphic organizers in teaching-learning process. The responses of the B.Ed. students showed that graphic organizers are useful to make teaching-learning more effective.  Can we use Transfer of learning approach for eighth standard classroom? If so, should we use Concept Mapping for this? We have this curiosity in mind so we can develop Transfer of learning approach using “Concept Mapping” for Science in eighth standard classroom.Apperception theory of transfer is based on the concept Apperception which is a process of relating new ideas to store of old ones. When a student sets himself means self-evolving to learn a subject, a new idea, facts, principles and performing activities or to get experience he learns it by assimilating it with ideas or experiences already acquired and present in his mind in the form of Apperception masses. On the basis of this theory for Science learning we can use Concept mapping. In this paper attempt would be made to describe how Concept Mapping is useful for transfer of learning.  The current scenario of adolescent revealed by increased depression, increased suicidal rates, increased drug use is the clear indication of the challenges that adolescents faced. Information overload, mixed messages from media, press, teachers, and family and from society at large add to the confusing scenario of the assimilating young mind. No doubt that they are at risk because they lack social support to seek accurate information and services. Thus providing an experience that would strengthen adolescent’s coping abilities to counter environmental stress and disadvantages with which they sometimes have to cope with while experiencing is an essential need. Itrefers innovative ideas & various thoughts; known as divergent thinking. If we want to improve the quality of teacher education; it will be essential to give the training of team work &training of divergent thinking to “ would be teachers.”So there is a need to make use of Brain Storming Technique on student –teachers.

Lifelong learning\'s core values of learning, exploring, and serving, coupled with benefits for the mind; body and spirit make it an incredibly powerful tool for personal transformation and enhancement.

 The following research explores the effect of an ICT based model developed by the researcher integrating the theory of constructivism using the principles of student centered and active learning, collaborative learning, self learning, continuous assessments, reflective practice and justified use of technology through the medium of ICT on the achievement of the students. The researcher used an experimental method with a two group post test design to determine the effect of the ICT based model on academic achievement. The ICT based model proved to have significantly more effect on academic achievement than the traditional method of teaching.

 This paper proves the Information Communications Technology (ICT) has an important role to play in science teaching. The standards in the field of science teaching emphasize the need for science teachers to use strategies that develop deep scientific understanding while applying research skills and problem-solving abilities to complex questions. Highlights on challenges of ICT in the field of education are described in brief. There are highlights on benefits of ICT in science education. Varieties of technological tool both hardware and software is elaborated. At the end there is an attempt to highlight the role of teachers in effective use of ICT in science education.
